ICT integration in foreign language instruction –English in this case, has been a FUNDAMENTAL challenge through my experience as English language instructor of 7 classes (i.e., 14 groups of 15-16 pupils per group) for two school years.

Basing my approach on ICT integration in teaching, I tried, with my 6th grade pupils during the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 school years, to implement simple course simulations, interactive exercises, rhymes and worksheets inspired from “Prime English” and the web that conform the official Tunisian curriculum. 

I was glad to see them asking to double the number of the English class periods, to ‘run after’ the « English Club » sessions, and to get high scores in the national competitive exams for access to pilot intermediate schools.
